I want to save our health and the Earth’s, but I’m honestly not going to say I see myself giving up meat anytime soon. Even though I don’t consume that much of it. This blog is all about little steps, and I’m just not ready to make that one yet. Maybe someday.
However, I do feel that if I ate at a restaurant that actually printed carbon footprints of each item, I’d opt for the dishes that are significantly less. I can pretty much guarantee that. I wonder what impact it would have if more restaurants did this. If they all did?
I’m not sure I would be able to totally determine whether I was making the choice because I was better informed or because I would feel guilty choosing the option with the higher footprint. Something worth considering though.
